Requirements:

  • Recognize Discovery Green® as a credit at the end of the finished product.
  • Permission from the artist is required to publish, distribute or broadcast images of artwork located in Discovery Green, whether temporary or permanent.
  • Provide a copy of any finished film/video product on DVD, USB or Dropbox for DGC's archives. (mail to: Discovery Green 1500 McKinney, Houston, Texas 77010 and/or email to Nathalie@DiscoveryGreen.com)
  • In the event of inclement weather, applicant will have within 60-90 days to reschedule.

Discovery Green Staff must approve the reschedule date which is subject to availability. NO REFUNDS will be issued.

Drones are not permitted at Discovery Green without a permit specifically approved by the President and Park Director. Drone permits may require space rental and will require a certificate of commercial general liability coverage that meets Discovery Green requirements. If you are seeking a permit for drone photography, please upload your FAA certification.

I understand that the Staff, Board and Agents of Discovery Green Conservancy, Houston First Corporation, the City of Houston and Houston Downtown Park Corporation will be held harmless for actions arising out of the use of the park’s premises. I also understand that no refunds will be issued, and that I will be responsible for any damages that may occur.

Photos/video footage taken at or near any of the art installations in the park will require permission from the artist prior to use on any commercial or professional websites/ads.
